Happy Friday-eve yall! I'm the hostess for this week's Krafty Chicks Clean and Simple challenge. My card for this week doesn't have lots of white space but I promise it was simple! So the insanely talented and super sweet Niccole made me this Yupo sheet. Well to be clear, she made one for everyone on the TRHD Design Team (each in our fave colors!). The sheet was soooooo pretty I just couldn't bring myself to cut it up…seriously I stared at it for days!
So here's what I did… I started of die cutting some Dark Roast cs with the Postage Stamp die (SugarPea Designs) then I measured the inside and cut a rectangle from the center of the Yupo piece. From that center piece I stamped the Tea cups from the Steeped in Happiness set with Embossing ink and added some Dark Roast ep. I love the rich dark brown, but with a little shimmer. Next I used the Dotted Flower Stencil and some pink stickles for the steam from the pot. Finally I stamped my sentiment from the Perfectly Blended set on to a die cut tag.
I am so in love with the way this card turned out!!! I am thinking of making my own Yupo sheet and re-creating this card to be framed for my loft! Thank you so much Niccole for the base for this card!
