Happy Wednesday! It's time for another Card Concept challenge. The inspiration photo reminds me of beach balls and summer. I grabbed some Reverse Confetti goodies, and got busy!!! I am also playing along with this month's STOCK YOUR STASH challenge, and the current MOJO MONDAY SKETCH (thank you Julee!!)… you can scroll down to see the theme & sketch!
So I really tried sticking with the color theme here. I grabbed some Ruby Red, Anchors Away and Bumbly Bee Shimmerz Paints and proceeded to do some smooshing!! I LOVE smooshing! lol I did dry each color in between to avoid mud messes, lol. Next I used the STITCHED RAYS Cover Panel (Reverse Confetti) on the smooshed panel, WOW! What a difference some texture makes!!!
I used a retired HEART TO HEART die and layered the, also retired, HELLO die over it. The patterned paper is just a scrap I had laying around from some Summer themed pad I had. I also added a few sequins (Blue Metallic & Ruby Red Metallic), and a red seam binding ribbon.
