DS195 & Light it up BLUE, Autism Awareness (and some Blog CANDY!)

Hello and welcome to the Light It Up Blue For Autism Awareness Blog Hop! Over the years we have met and befriended a few families with Autistic children… these kids have always touched my heart… they are amazing children!!  But this card is in honor of a little boy who loves to wear costumes and dress up and his Mom, whom I swear is secretly Super Mom! I see pictures of this little boy or read stories about him and his sweet little face always warms my heart and makes me smile!  For today's hop we have so many fantastic sponsors that have shown their support for Autism Awareness and you can see the complete list >here<.  If you would like a chance to win a prize from one of these fabulous companies leave a comment on this blog, and any of the other blogs participating in today's hop! For today's card I used Superman Lucas from the You're Fangtastic set by Kraftin Kimmie stamps.  I tried keeping him in all BLUE, but I did have to add a little "Superman red"!  The layout is this week's Deconstructed Sketch, DS195 (see below).  My card is about the normal width, but it is taller… LOVE the look of this size!

  21. I was delighted to find this blog hop in aid of Autism as our 8yo son has low spectrum autism. He is a wonderful boy, much loved by many. Your card is brilliant! This was our son aged 5 in his homemade super hero outfit, (blue pillow case as a cape)and he still likes to dress up at times! Thank you and all the sponsors for supporting this cause.
