I know this is a little late, but I am just now getting around to posting it. My Mom has EVERYthing, seriously! So when it comes to Mother's Day I tend to go the "homemade gift" or "outting" route. For Mother's Day I wanted to make her something with a picture (this picture to be specific… I just LOVE this picture of my kids). I found a square glass "bowl" at the store… perfect candle holder! I printed this picture on some stiff vellum (the picture actually shows on 2 sides), then I printed some pretty digi paper also on vellum
The paper is Amethyst Sparkle from My Time Made Easy. I added some white and purple ribbons on the top and voila! I wasn't able to get a picture of it with the candle inside, but it looks wonderful!

What a genius idea!! Just love it, and very few people out there don’t like candles {I was about to say “who doesn’t like candles?”} so I think they’re safe and wonderful gifts!
