It’s Release Day! It’s Release Day!!!!!!

Yeah! It's My Time Made Easy Release day, time to head over to the store and gobble up those Christmas goodies!  Today is a group post day and today we are doing "Christmas cards made easy!".  I am all about the details, and lots of them so most of the time 'Easy' is anything but for me.  So I took a little different approach to these.  While there are a couple more details on these than a typical "easy" card, I made sure that they were all things that could easily be done in an "assembly line" kinda thing, simple elements.  I also focused on making the most out of your purchase,so I used the same stamp set and color scheme on two cards and another stamp set and color scheme on the other two.

For these two cards I used the Secret Santa stamp set along with Kristin's Timeless Traditions Stripes digi paper.  The stamp set comes with great little accent stamps like the "confetti ribbon" on the first, and the mistletoe on the second card.  I used a simple scalloped border, which you could make one long one and then cut it in strips to fit your card.  Both ribbon pieces are very simple, then I added some rhinestones to one and pearls to the other.  I also added some Sparkle Fluff on Santa's Hat.  I whipped these 2 cards out in no time!!

These two cards are just basic cardstock with several gorgeous snowflakes from the  Dashing Through the Snow stamp set.  For the card on the left I used some White Prism paper and scattered 2 different sized snowflakes in a darker and a lighter blue ink, then added some rhinestones to the centers of the flakes.  There are 2 ribbons up there, a button and some silver twine.  I also stamped the presents from the set in silver ink and and in dark blue ink, added a teeny sentiment and then used a nestie to pop it out.  For the 2nd card, there are 2 layers.  First I stamped my sleigh and reindeers on white cardstock and mounted it.  Then I scattered some snowflakes on some heavy vellum, and stamped a great sentiment on the vellum as well (just so it would pop a little)… we'll just never mind that I smeared my sentiment, lol.  I wrapped ribbon around the top in an easy knot and Voila!
