So are you still in a Turkey coma? Hahaha, hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. How many of you put up Christmas decorations today? lol, we're doing ours tomorrow (hehehe).
Well today is the 4th Friday, which means it's Paper Garden Challenge day! Click on over to the PGP Blog to get all the deets and to see how you can win some stamps! Today's challenge is to create your own background. Cathy has some gorgeous and super fun background stamps at the store (which will soon be visiting a mailbox near me, lol!), but for today I used the small Cocoa stamp that came with my Piper stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie and stamped it with VersaMark on my Prism cs. I also used some White Liquid Applique on the Marshmallows. When I was putting the pp across the top I decided that I liked it popped up a bit (kinda like an awning, so I added some pop dots under just the bottom half. Oliver is popped up too. To make Oliver's eyes kinda stand out a little I used my Black Sakura Glaze pen. I paper pieced his hat and his mug, and used red Flock on the "fur" of his hat. While Piper is adorable, I just couldn't resist using Oliver again (plus I wanted to make a Hot Cocoa package for my neighbor and her grandkids!). Tomorrow I hope to have my Bloggers Challenge finished and something with Piper (didn't want her feeling neglected or left out). See you soon, and hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend!!
