Hahaha, ok you all crack me up! I was excited at how my Tea jar turned out and YOU all wanted the tea recipes, lol. Here ya go…
Tangii’s Flavored Tea
Use
6 regular sized tea bags (I used Lipton's Mixed Berry), put them
in your glass jar (this is the first secret to awesome tea… make it in a glass
container!). Add a pinch of Baking Soda (this is the second secret!) to the
jar. Boil water and add 2 cups to the
glass jar with your tea bags in it. Put
your lid on and let it steep for 15 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and add just
less than ½ cups of sugar (make sure you add this while the water is still
super hot because it helps the sugar dissolve!). Shake it up or stir well until all of the
sugar is dissolved. Now add 6 cups of
cold water and chill! Voila! Because we go through so much of this tea, I
tend to make several jars worth at one time.
I keep the jars all ready to go in the fridge and then when I need to
refill my pitcher I just dump the jar in and add the 6 cups of water…yummy!! (I use washed out Spaghetti Sauce jars to make the tea and then pour it in my pitcher before adding the cold water)
